Kaitlyn Wood is professional dancer, choreographer and dance educator, born and based in Toronto, Canada.
Kaitlyn has been dancing since age 5, performing and training in a wide range of styles from Jazz, to Contemporary, to Commercial/Hip-Hop. She found her love of dance early in her life and has been fostering it ever since. She had the privilege of studying Dance choreography/ performance at York University, and graduated in 2025 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts.
She has numerous established credits in her emerging career. Most recently, she performed in the Parisian- inspired showgirl cabaret show A Night In Paris, choreographed by Sheri Lewis. She had the privilege of dancing alongside the major artist Diljit Dosanjh inThe Diluminati Tour, on the Roger’s Center stage, under the choreographic direction of Divya Jethwani. She performed in Jekyll and Hyde with Doctor Bird Productions, making her theatre debut. She was a part of multiple productions with Parahumans Dance Company, including The Unveiling, and most recently a principal role in Resurgir with Tonalli Dance Productions. During her time at York University she was a company member of the York Dance Ensemble, and was able to be a part of numerous showcases under the direction of prominent Toronto dance-artists Syreeta Hector and Jane- Alison Mckinney, including mixed work Here and Now, and Yellow, performed at the York University Markham campus opening ceremony.
Kaitlyn is passionate about performing and always excited about new projects.
